Gifting a custom or themed phone case

A printed case is a personal gift when the model fits and the artwork means something. Use this checklist so the case arrives ready to snap on β€” not sitting unused in a drawer because the cutouts were for a different phone.

Confirm the exact phone model first

Cases are printed for the model selected at checkout. Ask for the full device name (for example iPhone 16 Pro, not just β€œiPhone”), or gift a catalog design and let them choose the model if you are shopping together. Wrong cutouts are the most common gift miss.

β€œiPhone 16” and β€œiPhone 16 Pro” are different blanks. Plus and Pro Max sizes are different again. If you cannot get a straight answer, open Settings β†’ General β†’ About on their phone, or match the camera layout against a product photo. Guessing from a locked-screen silhouette is how gifts miss the camera island.

Ready-made theme vs custom upload

Catalog designs work well when you know their taste β€” cartoons, sports, music, cars, art. For photos of people, pets, or a shared trip, use the custom case designer: upload a sharp image, frame the crop, and preview before you pay.

Custom uploads are produced for that order only. They are not added to the public catalog. If the photo is not yours, make sure you have permission to print it. A catalog theme is the safer gift when you are not sure about rights or file quality.

What they will receive

Case Finds ships soft TPU snap cases (~1.5 mm) with professional UV print and a matte finish. Ports, buttons, and camera openings stay accessible. The case is slim everyday protection, not a thick rugged shell.

There is no gift-wrap add-on and no handwritten note field at checkout. If you want a card, pack one yourself after it arrives β€” or ship to your own address and hand it over in person. The case ships in a simple protective mailer.

Timing and shipping

Orders usually ship same or next business day. Delivery typically takes 3–16 business days depending on region β€” check the returns page for regional ranges before a birthday or holiday. Free worldwide shipping is available on eligible orders.

The window is real: nearby regions (Germany, the rest of Europe) land in under a week; the US and farther destinations take up to about two weeks. Do not use the short end of the range as a promise. If the date is fixed, order at the long end and keep the tracking email.

If something is wrong

Because cases are made to order, refunds are reviewed case by case. Damaged, misprinted, or incorrect items can be reported to [email protected] with photos. See Returns & Refunds for full details.

A wrong model that was selected at checkout is harder to reverse than a print defect. Double-check the model name on the order confirmation before you close the tab. If you catch a mistake the same day, email immediately β€” production starts quickly and changes are not always possible.
